Dr. Melissa Hughes is a TEDX speaker and the author of Happy Hour with Einstein and Happier Hour with Einstein: Another Round. She has worked extensively in the leisure and hospitality industry helping hoteliers and restaurateurs apply brain-based research to improve the guest experience. Dr. Hughes combines her experience in teaching and learning with extensive research in neuroscience, behavioral science, and psychology to inspire people to understand how the brain works and how to make it work better.

She has delivered keynote addresses at industry events around the country such as the Council of State Restaurants Association, the Choice Hotels Owners Council, Alaska CHARR (Cabarets, Hotels, Restaurants, Retailers), and the Florida Restaurant & Lodging Association.
